LA’s most promising young boyband - VOILÀ - have today released a new song: Anyway. The song is one of a string of singles VOILÀ have released this year, following up previously released tunes 100th Second Chance, Lately and Stand Tall.

‘“Anyway” is a feel good anthem to anyone who feels like they’re not enough for someone. It’s crazy how much we all over analyse our everyday interactions with other people and make assumptions that lead us to self-doubt. This song is about living in the now and reminding people to take a step back sometimes to really enjoy being present day to day.’ - says Gus, who handles lead vocals for the band.

Anyway is a beautifully written pop tune, recounting a young forbidden love story. Lyrically ripe with nostalgia, Anyway comes right in time for the ensuing summer months; an ideal summer anthem to soundtracks the seasons' debauchery.

“I had read Nicholas Sparks’, “The Notebook”, more than a few times growing up and the whole lovers coming from two different sides of the track was burrowed in my mind. I had a summer of sneaking around a girl’s father who didn’t approve of his goody two shoed daughter hanging out with ripped up and drawn on converse shoed me. I may be romanticizing a bit, but I parallel that relationship to “The Notebook”, and that’s what Anyway encompasses for me” - mentions Luke, VOILÀ's primary lyricist.

Having premiered singles on Billboard and Affinity Magazine and amassed millions of streams with virtually no promo, it’s clear the future’s bright for one of the most promising young boybands to emerge on the pop scene in recent memory.
On July 4th, VOILÀ will be opening mainstage for Kesha and playing alongside acts like Shawn Mendes, Timeflies, and The Fray. The duo plan on releasing more singles throughout the year, working towards an EP - while also developing their live show. With their ambitious spirit, impressive dedication, and undeniable charm - VOILÀ look set for a big year.

About VOILÀ

“Refreshing,” “Romantic,” and “Relatable” are a few of the terms used to describe L.A.- based pop/rock act VOILÀ. Gus Ross and Luke Eisner, respectively from London and Wisconsin - combine authentic production, emotive vocals and magnetic lyricism as a duo.

Ross started out busking around London, which led to playing shows in London’s infamous West End: even performing for the Queen. He incorporates “raw emotion and old school jazz,” in his vocals. He is fascinated by the technicality of music and handles production.

On the other side of the world, Eisner’s passion for music came through lyricism: fascinated by timeless literature, he fronted bands in the midwest scene. “I strive to include at least one tattoo-able phrase in every song we write," says Eisner, who also maintains a professional modeling career, which helps craft the duo's aesthetic.

VOILÀ started 2018 as one of BBC Introducing Solent’s “Ones to Watch.” With millions of streams on their music to date, their singles “Hundredth Second Chance” and “Lately” continue to grow. After success on Spotify and BBC radio, the band drew eminent praise from the likes of Billboard, Pandora, and more.

They have supported the likes of Kesha, The Fray, X Ambassadors, Flume and Martin Garrix and will be closing out 2018 with a string of LA shows and the eagerly anticipated release of their new single.
